Performance Schedule: The six-week Colorado Music Festival will run from June 23 through August 3, 2007. Performances are at Boulder's Chautauqua Auditorium, and all evening concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. As in past years, the CMF Chamber Orchestra will perform on Sundays, Chamber Music and World Music ensembles on Tuesdays, and the CMF Festival Orchestra on Thursdays and Fridays.
The 2007 season will feature Music Director Michael Christie, world-renowned percussionist Colin Currie, the Colorado premiere of Osvaldo Golijov’s flamenco opera Ainadamar, a unique chamber orchestra performance of Carl Orff’s Camina Burana, acclaimed pianist Simon Trpceski, internationally acclaimed klezmer clarinetist David Krakauer, Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 “Resurrection," and much more!
